Contract Type: 6 months probation after which it could be Full-time (2025-2028)

About SpringAid International Development (SpringAid Nigeria)

SpringAid International Development (SAID) is a global nonprofit working to empower women, youth, and marginalized communities through entrepreneurship, education, human rights, and community-driven development. SAID Nigeria is implementing a Sida-funded entrepreneurship and mentorship program targeting 5,000 youth and women in Imo State.

Role Summary

We are seeking motivated Project Officers who are passionate about community development, entrepreneurship, and youth/women empowerment. The Project Officer will coordinate field-level activities, support training and mentorship processes, engage communities, and ensure effective, timely delivery of project interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement project activities in assigned communities.
• Mobilize and recruit participants in an inclusive and transparent manner.
• Facilitate mentorship activities, trainings, workshops, and community engagements.
• Manage logistics, budgeting support, and procurement of training materials.
• Build strong relationships with community leaders, mentors, and local authorities.
• Support data collection, reporting, and documentation of success stories.
• Ensure compliance with donor guidelines and SAID policies.
• Promote sustainability and continuous learning among participants.
• Required Qualifications
•  Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Economics, Business, or related fields.
•  2–4 years’ experience in community development or donor-funded projects.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with KoboCollect or digital data tools is an advantage.
• Fluency in English and Igbo preferred.
