Our Entrepreneurship Development Centre is part of SAID Nigeria’s Local Access Entrepreneurship Programme (LEAP).The activities of the Entrepreneurship Centre are both short term and long-term. Short-term aims to make sure vulnerable children are helped back to school and to complete their education through our Ensuring Access To Basic Education Programme (EATBEP), in other words Back To School, while long-term is to help these target groups break the cycle of poverty and create for themselves, families and communities sustainable livelihood.
This C enter aims also to provide unskilled, economically, socially marginalised, unemployed women, girls, and youths life skills development through training in entrepreneurship.
Other activities conducted at the Centre include development and management of small enterprises, financial literacy, training in best agricultural practices, catering and events management, bookkeeping, mentorship.
LEAP encourages, supports, and empowers mothers mostly mothers/widows whose children are beneficiaries of SAID Nigeria
Back To School
The training has a duration of sex months and after which the participating mothers launch their own business or restructure an existing one. Thereafter, they receive mentorship in business management, link to relevant groups and participate in the Saving Group that acts as a support for them in their business.
Through LEAP, SAID Nigeria is investing in this group of women or indigent mothers specifically in Snail Farming, Fish Farming, Mushroom Farming, Poultry Farming, Food Vendor, Cassava Farming and other livestock and crop farming. We are also offering training in digital marketing and use of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Furthermore, it’s important to note that the essence of this project is to ensure each, and everyone trained mother shall have a startup capital to establish and manage her own small business; and our happiness is that this investment of our on these mothers gives real value for money and sustains to a greater extent the SAID Nigeria’s Ensuring Access to Education Programme (EATBEP) popularly known as Back-to-School.

Startup capital per person: (200 -250 USD)
