Since our inception, the promotion of Entrepreneurship has been one of SAID Nigeria’s focus areas. Many people have been supported on their journey to building a profitable business.

HEALTH EDUCATION AND LIFE PROMOTION

While this fighting for the creation of more autonomous communities might be desirable, the experience is that it is failing to produce the desired result in many cases.

CREDIT ADVANCE PLATFORM

Credit Advance Platform, CAP, is a platform through which we offer credit facilities to two set of families, namely, those who are living or affected by HIV/AIDS AND to poor and marginalized families.

Social Housing

For those who have been following our activities, you would recall that we embarked on our third project on social housing for 48 families living in slums, shacks and sub-human conditions in Owerri.

Emerging Leaders In Human Rights and Democracy (ELIHAD) Human Rights and Democracy are key areas of focus for SpringAid International Development (SAID Nigeria).

SAID Nigeria's Legal Empowerment Advocacy

SpringAid International Development (SAID Nigeria) has been engaged in legal empowerment aid since inception 2009. There are many other on-going litigation issues instituted for the benefits of poor and marginalized people. SAID Nigeria employs Human Rights Based Approach (HRBA) in its engagement with the communities and partners.

About us

SpringAid International Development organization is a membership based organization with the aim to strengthen the capacity of individuals, especially women and youth within the communities we serve to respond to their identified basics needs. The overall aim of SpringAidintlD is fighting poverty in all its forms through mobilizing local human and material resources to improve the lives of Nigerians by activities, projects and programmes that generate wealth and bring positive changes in people's lives. SpringAidIntlD works closely with local associations, groups and communities to design and support Human rights, democracy and good governance, gender equality, promote health and , advance education and skills training, Social housing, develop agribusiness and social business and small business enterprises. We work to ensure that poor people especially women, girls and youth have access to basic rights by means of structural poverty eradication, human rights and enhancement of democratic processes.

The objective of this project is to organize and train 58 youths from Nigeria, Ghana and Cameroon in leadership and democratic culture. Todya more than ever, the developing countries need leaders who understand and appreciate the values of democracy. Experience show that young people can be helped through training to acquire the necessary skills needed for effective, responsive and responsible leadership.
